With the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic, last year was an exceptional one for the healthcare industry. The outstanding work on the frontlines by doctors, nurses, scientists, public health physicians and other healthcare professionals made the 2021 Health Care Heroes judging all the more difficult.
Qualifications for Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Health Care Heroes Awards are the nominee must be: employed in the healthcare industry; based in metro Atlanta; and have at least one year in the nominated position or role, and with the same company. The Chronicle received countless applications from nominators within the metro area’s health systems describing the dedication, passion, expertise and patient care of their members, and all were inspiring.
